Description: The MS4 program authorizes permitting for all discharges into the County owned storm sewers, storm drain inlets, open channels, and similar features. Permits include control measures that have a wasteload allocation in a total maximum daily load. Further County responsibilities of the MS4 program include: public outreach and education, public involvement, illicity disharge detection and elimination, construction and post-construction site runoff control, and pollution prevention.
Description: Data Type: Static. Vintage: December, 2015.The Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD) boundary. Extents were digitized using the descriptions from Colorado State Senate Bill # 104, Section 1, 32-11-202 in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Interior Bureau of Land Management (BLM) township and range data from the Public Land Survey System (PLSS). The Urban Drainage and Flood Control District was established by the Colorado legislature in 1969 for the purpose of assisting local governments in the Denver metropolitan area with multi-jurisdictional drainage and flood control problems. UDFCD covers an area of 1608 square miles and includes Denver, parts of the 6 surrounding counties, all or parts of 32 incorporated cities and towns, with over 3500 stream miles serving a population approaching three million people.
